Established in 1993, Gwan Kuen is one of Taiwan’s leading OEM service providers. We specialize in delivering cost-effective, high-quality, one-stop manufacturing solutions — from raw material sourcing and PCB assembly to box-build assembly and final shipment.

Extensive OEM Experience and Engineering Support

Our modern, clean workshop spans 5,000 square meters and is equipped with high-speed SMT production lines from Siemens, Germany. We support 008004 chip placement and can accommodate a wide range of components, including BGA, uBGA, and other advanced packages.

Certified Quality and Strict Manufacturing Standards

Our factory operates in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 13485 standards. Our products have also obtained multiple international certifications, including UL, CCC, S Mark, PSE, and Thailand’s TISI certification.

To ensure superior product quality, all operations undergo rigorous inspection procedures using advanced equipment such as:

  • 3D SPI
  • 3D X-ray inspection
  • 3D microscopes
  • 3D AOI systems

In addition, we maintain a comprehensive quality control system throughout production, including inspections conducted by our IQC, IPQC, OQC, and FQC teams.

By handling all manufacturing processes in-house, we provide customers with better production transparency, improved quality control, and more efficient project follow-up throughout the entire manufacturing process.


Milestones

1993
Founded in Taiwan.

2000–2005
Obtained ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications and implemented lead-free manufacturing processes.

2012
Installed a 3D X-Ray inspection system and a 3D microscope (300x magnification).

2013
Implemented an Error Proof System (SMD Barcode System).

2014
Installed a 3D SPI (Solder Paste Inspection) system.

2015
Added a new SMT production line (SIEMENS/Germany), 3D AOI system (SAKI/Japan), and reflow oven temperature monitoring system.

2016
Installed an industrial-grade baking dry cabinet and obtained the APPLE MFi Manufacturing License.

2017
Installed a Selective Soldering System, E-SOP System, and additional 3D AOI equipment.

2018
Installed a four-spindle automatic screw fastening machine, automatic tape sealing machine, fiber laser marking machine, and upgraded the 3D X-Ray system.

2019
Installed the latest CNC PCB Router to replace the previous equipment.

2020
Relocated to the current facility to support business growth, expanding the factory area from 3,300m² to 5,000m².
Upgraded SMT production lines and installed:

  • SMD Rework System/Station
  • PCB/Stencil Cleaning Machine
  • Ultra-low humidity baking dry cabinet (≤0.5% RH)
  • Nitrogen Generator
  • Pallet Strapping System

2021
Installed an SMT First Article Inspection (FAI) System and upgraded SMT production lines, including:

  • ASM next-generation stencil printer
  • ASM self-learning inline SPI system
  • ASM ultra high-speed mounter
  • Ersa HOTFLOW 3/20 Reflow Soldering System

2022
Further upgraded SMT production lines and installed:

  • X-ray Component Counting System
  • Clean Booth
  • Two SAKI 3D AOI systems (12M pixels)
  • Selective Soldering System
  • 3D SPI
  • Inline SMT High-Speed Dispenser

2023
Installed an automatic rotary smart warehouse system and added four programmable oxidation-free forced-air ovens.
Received a Low-Carbon and Smart Transformation subsidy.

2024
Installed a smart solder paste storage management system, additional 3D AOI automatic optical inspection system, and AI Smart Reflow Oven Production Prediction System (InSpec 3.0).

2025
Added an error-proof automatic splicer, AI X-Ray Component Counting Machine, and automatic FAI machine.
Obtained ISO 13485 certification and initiated implementation of the IATF 16949 system.
